For the purposes of these terms, "Tranquil Waves", "we", "us", or "our" refers to the business owner, and "you", "your", "client", or "visitor" refers to the user of our services or website.
1. Bookings and Payments
All appointments must be booked in advance via our website or officially approved booking channels.
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment slot, unless otherwise agreed by us in writing.
2. Cancellations, Rescheduling, & Late Arrivals
24-Hour Notice: We require at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session.
Late Cancellations: Cancellations, reschedules, or missed appointments with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable and will be charged at the full session rate.
Late Arrivals: Please arrive promptly at your scheduled time. If you arrive late, your session time may be shortened to accommodate subsequent bookings, and no partial refund will be given.
Statutory Right to Cancel: By booking a specific session date and time online, you agree that the service will be provided on that specific date. Therefore, you acknowledge that the statutory 14-day cooling-off cancellation period under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations does not apply to scheduled appointment slots.
3. Health, Eligibility, & Client Responsibility
Non-Medical Service: Tranquil Waves sessions are strictly designed for relaxation, stress management, and general wellbeing. Our services are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Contraindications & Pre-Session Form: Our equipment utilises specialised vibroacoustic frequency technology. You are required to complete our Pre-Session Form honestly prior to your appointment. If you have a pacemaker, are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, or have any major health concerns, you must consult your doctor before booking.
Voluntary Participation: By attending a session, you confirm that you are participating voluntarily and accept full responsibility for your own physical and mental wellbeing during and after the experience.
Non-Disclosure: We accept no liability for any adverse reactions resulting from health conditions, allergies, or sensitivities that were not fully disclosed to us in writing prior to the session.
4. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for exactly 12 months from the date of purchase and must be redeemed within this timeframe. Expired vouchers cannot be extended.
Vouchers are completely non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
5. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence.
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Tranquil Waves shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, nor for any loss or damage to personal belongings brought into the premises.
6. Changes to Services and Pricing
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or alter our services, session structures, and pricing at any time without prior notice.
7. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
